A few thoughts...

There is nothing a little Robeks can't fix...
Tylie had her 15 month old wellness check-up today. She starts screaming as soon as we walk into the room to be checked! I think the nurse gets so annoyed with her!! We are so lucky to have the best doc though, Dr. Rebbeca Patterson- Judd...Love her! Many of you probably know her and if anyone is looking for a fabulous doc...go to her! Well, I am excited to say that Tylie weighed in at 20 lbs today and is finally Legal to sit facing forward! (Even though she has been since she turned a year....shh don't tell, I'm a bad mom)

Lastly, I am really bummed with the results of The Biggest Looser on Tuesday! Helen is the only one that I really did not want to win (sorry for those of you that are Helen lovers). I thought that she was a little selfish voting her own daughter off the show. Putting myself in her shoes, I can't imagine wanting myself to loose weight over my own daughter! Bottom line she should have been the bigger person (no pun intended) and let her daughter stay on the ranch instead of herself! She looks amazing though, I will say that! Any who, maybe I'm just jealous cause she weighs less than I do! She is weighing in @ 117 wow, lookin' good Helen!

This little girl cracks me up all of the time! I now look forward to Sundays to see just how the day will play out. Church is always an "experience" with this one! Sacrament meeting is the best and the worst. I feel bad because she is so vocal and loud, but some of the things she does are so funny! When the chorister is leading the music on the stand, she thinks she is waving to her. So during the whole song she is just waving and waving to her.

Then when the bishop is announcing a new calling and he asks for everyone to sustain the person being called and everyone raises their hand...Tylie raises her hand when he asks if anyone is opposed, then she laughs. It's pretty funny, but then again, maybe you just have to be there! =) I guess next on our list to teach her...REVERENCE!!!

A weekend of ...

A lot of fun,
Easter egg hunts,

a lot of them,

too many chocolate bunnies,

lots of cousins,

Smiles galore,

not too many "good" naps,

driving around town,
hanging with the girls and cute Kellen,

lots of kisses,

new Easter toys,

tons of zoo animals,

more zoo animals (J/K) just horsin' around,

a lot of happiness,

a new 12 month old molar,

3 of the most surprised faces I have ever seen (wish you could hear the sound that went a long with the face)...

and a lot of love,

and gratitude for him, and everything he has done just for me and each of you!

Hope you had a wonder Easter weekend!

New Ride!

Last week was a really long week at work! Sometimes the traffic really gets to me! An hour there an hour home...ahhh! Well, one day last week I think it took me over an hour and a half to get home cause traffic was so bad. I came home a little flustered and annoyed but when I walked in our room I found these on our bed!

I have been wanting Rollerblades for a really long time now and Shane surprised me with a pretty sweet new pair of blades! Thank you so much...I LOVE them! Not to mention I am not the easiest person to surprise, I will find out anything and everything if I know something is coming. Not this time, I was shocked! What a fun surprise and I forgot all about the traffic that night!

Anyone want to join me?! I need to find some friends now to Rollerblade with! I know, everyone is thinking, "Rollerblades are so 1990's." Well, I had some pretty good times back then so I know these little baby's are going to rock my world all over again!

Anywhoo, Thanks Shane you are the best and so very thoughtful!

He loves me, he loves me not

Kingston and Tylie finally meet! Cori and I worked together a while back when we were both pregnant with these two. We had so much fun working and hanging out together and she really became one of my best friends. She was exactly 3 months ahead of me and she found out she was having a boy and I found out that I was having a girl. From that moment, we always said that these two would for sure be boyfriend and girlfriend someday. Who didn't know that indeed arranged marriage is still, "so in!" Well, to make a long story short her and her family opened a Paul Mitchell School in Colorado Springs and moved away while we were still both prego. We have tried many of times to get these two together to meet and it didn't happen until this past weekend.

They were actually so cute together, they seemed like they were so fascinated by each other. I love how babies interact, it is too cute! Kingston is the coolest little dude ever. Did I mention he was born on my birthday? Even that much cooler!
So, we may have a match...they both love cheerios...
They are both super crazy and love to make huge messes and I'm sure our waiter at CPK was so glad to see us leave...

They both love to read...
Isn't that all you really need to make a relationship last?

Tylie seems to really like him..
And by the way he is looking in her eyes, I think he likes her too.

The best year of our lives!

Shane and I were talking about how this year has really been the best year of our lives! We can simply not imagine our lives without this girl, and quite frankly sometimes we wonder what we ever did without her! She brings us so much happiness and blesses our lives so much. I feel so old because everyone always says "It goes so fast" but today I found myself saying it over and over again. A part of me is so happy to see this little baby grow into this little girl with such a fun personality, but my heart aches a little bit too because it is scary how fast this last year went! I can remember so clearly this time last year, every emotion so clear. We just sat in my hospital bed and stared at her for a good two days and just thought how lucky we were to be blessed with such a sweet baby! I remember being so scared to be a mom, but that love that overwhelming love came instantly and I swear I am one big fat cry baby ever since. I see a brand new baby and all of the emotions come back to me and I could cry at a drop of a hat! It's pretty ridiculous!

Anyways, I felt the tears coming so let's get back to this Birthday thing! Tylie had a great birthday and even though she can't talk to me and tell me how amazing her day was, she sure had it written all over her face and you are about to witness it!

Here is our little one- year- old! The Birthday Girl!

Here she is crawling her way to answer the door to see who is here for a little party!
Here is her cake and cupcakes we made for her party. You can't tell very well in this pic but the cupcakes were bugs and flowers.
Here we go

Tylie Belle we love you more than you could possibly imagine! You make us so happy just by flashin your beautiful smile! Please never stop giving me kisses! Happy Birthday Ty, and know that this year was the best year of our lives because of you!!!
