Knotts

We had so much fun last weekend with Shane's cousin David and his wife Natalie. They had gotten free tickets to Knotts Merry Farm and had invited us to go. (we have lived about 15 minutes away from each other for about a year now and FINALLY just got together with them...not ok!) So we didn't find out until we got there that it was Toys for Tots day, which meant that if you bring a toy you get in for free. So I'm sure you can imagine how packed it was!!! Let's just say that we might have waited in line for 2 1/2 hours for one ride and then left and went to dinner! (I don't think I was supposed to say that) But we still had so much fun just hanging out and talking! And we definitely need to hang out more cause you guys are practically our neighbors! Thanks guys!

NO, SANTA I SWEAR!!!!

So, Tylie had been talking to us and letting us know that she wanted to go and talk to Santa again to let him know a few more things that were on her wish list. We were going to a ward Christmas dinner and it just so happened that Santa came. So Tylie got her chance and when she sat down the first thing Santa asked was "Are you sleeping through the night like you said she would?" And well we will let the pictures tell the rest of the story........

(This is him asking her the big question)

(This was her guilty response.)
(Still trying to plead her case!!!) Just kidding Tylie is sleeping all the way through the night now and it is wonderful. But the pictures sure made a good story didn't they.

Tylie Meets...

SANTA!

She kept hearing a lot about the big guy, and finally we happened to run into him. There where so many kids waiting in line to see him. As you can tell by the first pic. she is so stoked being so good and patient and all.

At first she might have been a little overwhelmed, I mean who wouldn't be a little nervous of a beard like that? (As you can see, she isn't used to men with a lot of
hair. Her dad has a little bit less hair than Santa:) )

But she got over it and warmed up to him real quick. By the end of her visit they where chatting as if they had known each other for years. You know just shooting the breeze, talking story, Reminiscing about old times...you catch my drift? As we where leaving I heard him whisper in her ear " Thank you for being such a good girl this year, but please please try and be a better of a sleeper and I promise you will get that power wheels barbie 'lil trail rider you want so badly!"

She looked back as we where leaving and flashed him a big smile. I hope that is a good sign that she will obey him and start sleeping through the night!

Can't wait to hear how all your visits go!

Happy Birthday Chelsea!!!

Tylie and I are so freaken lucky to have Chelsea in our lives.
She is perfect for me and is the best mom for Tylie Belle.

This is Chels on our date for her Birthday. She had one to many diet Cokes so i had to correct her on how old she was turning, but we had so much fun. We went out to eat and then to a movie. I know it sounds like a normal date, but what can you do when your trapped in the vally with all the freeways closed. We had a great day though.

(This is by far my favorite pic, of my girls. I love it) We hope you had an amazing Birthday!!! You are the best thing that ever happend to me. I will never be able to thank you enough for all the happiness you have brought into my life. WE LOVE YOU CHELS!!!

My Little Lady...

BUG! So Tylie wasn't a hot dog for Halloween, even though Shane insisted that she was. I just couldn't bare to tell her when she grows up that she was a weiner for her first Halloween! So here she is as a lady bug...I know it's nothing spectacular or creative but I thought she looked pretty cute. She was getting really annoyed with her hat so we improvised with the bow.

These are my personal favorites. She is a girl after my own heart. I want CANDY!
Shane is pretty proud of his Cyclopse!Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween! We just hung out, carved pumpkins, drank homemade hot Apple cider and passed out candy!

This is how Tylie felt about her first Halloween...
